Final Fantasy XIII - going to Xbox 360

From the E3 2008: The square Enix have officially announced FFXIII will released also for Xbox360 !!!!!!

Well, although its late but this news was informative, I am a true-fan of Final Fantasy and I loved its stories and chronicles behind it....love, adventure, friendship, partners and cooperation, Thanks for the info!

I wanted to be the first to post a thread in the Xbox section, but I was too lazy. D:

Anyways, 'tis a good business move, but my dilemma of having to choose between the PS3 and Xbox 360 remains.

Final Fantasy? Is there any news games for XBOX for Final Fantasy?

FFXII is the 1st Final Fantasy Series in xbox 360 and also this game will release in Ps3 (demo available this april and bundle with FFACC) then follow up by Xbox 360.

I for one, while being an avid FF fan PLUS a SONY fan, am depressed over this. I don't know how they are going to fit FFXIII in XBOX disc, but, I am very sure there will be quality degradation.

I know it is for business, but suddenly having a 13 year old game that always runs on either SONY or Nitendo console going to XBOX, is shocking.

hahahaha .... I have read an Interview regarding Microsoft which reply the incident why SE decide make the FFXII for Xbox 360. Which the main point is ... SE have face some budget problem while develop FFXIII hence the Microsoft decide to help for the budget for FFXIII thus as return they ported the FFXII to xbox 360. (I not really sure for more detailed information)

The max disc for FFXII is 3 only.

Who knows... There's a unofficial 80GB BD. Metal Gear Solid 4 was so big that XBOX cannot handle it. Not to mention that MGS4 has higher graphic processing requirement.

SE's proprietary engine is multiplatform from the beginning. There will be no quality degradation.

The reason MGS4 was big was because of the amount of sound in there, not to mention animation information, it's just a dual layered BD. Hideo Kojima wanted no compromises on sound quality. In the end he got what he wanted at the expense of space.

Processing wise the PS3 and 360 has the same amount of power, the PS3 just have more processors for more delicate simultaneous vectors for physics. Basically, PS3 can do physics more realistically provided if the developers do it properly. Which is harder cause the PS3 is a bitch to code.
